HULL NAMED WASHINGTON STATE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Cheyenne Hull named 2025-26 MaxPreps Washington High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year!!!!!! A.C. Davis junior owns Class 4A state tournament scoring record after leading Pirates to back-to-back titles. The 6-foot junior guard led the Pirates to a 24-2 record and second straight Class 4A title. For the season, Hull averaged 22.1 points, 12.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 5.0 steals per night. In a 62-51 win over Sumner in the championship game, Hull posted 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Over the past two seasons, Hull has helped Davis go 44-1 against in-state opponents, including seven victories by 20 points or more in state tournament play. She has scored 1,486 career points. Regarded as the top player in the state in the Class of 2027, Hull is a two-time Big 9 Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Each state's MaxPreps Player of the Year will be considered for inclusion in the MaxPreps All-America Team, which is scheduled to be released in April.
