JOSH NAMED WIAA ATHLETE OF THE WEEK!!!
Junior Joshua Whitney delivered an exceptional week of competition, winning five races across multiple events and showcasing elite versatility in distance running. At his league meet, he swept the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters, earning 15 team points, before following up at the Davis Invite with victories in the 800 (1:57) and 3200 against top competition. His recent success builds on a strong season that includes a personal-best 4:20 in the 1600 at the Pasco Invite. In addition to his athletic achievements, Whitney maintains a 4.0 GPA while taking college-level courses at Yakima Valley College, exemplifying excellence both on the track and in the classroom.
