At West Valley, Saturday, January 14, Junior Esmeralda Galindo became the first girl basketball player to score 1000 plus career points for AC Davis High School. Galindo broke her own school record for an individual game when she scored 40 points to lead the Pirates to 71 to 46 victory over the West Valley Rams.
